The AFC East will be a toss up this year. If we stop 'almost winning' games and start winning them... well that's the whole point. In the last 2 years, everyone who played the Jets had to bring their A game to beat us, but when it counted, they did end up beating us. I really don't know what is missing. I've always hated Pennington. I'm not in favor of running QB's, but I think a running QB is what we need. If we have to play a pocket passer though, I wish they'd start Fiedler. He is just a good QB who was on a bad Miami team with a terrible coach all those years. Maybe I'm not giving Chad a chance, but he's hurt so much... let someone tougher play.

As much as I hate to say it, the Steelers look really good and I can easilly see them vs. Carolina/Philly/Tampa in the Superbowl.

As much as any other team I guess. I'd say teams with running QB's or young QB's would use the shotgun alot more. The Jets might. We have a new scheme this year. When I played in high school, our team ran 90% of the plays from shotgun.

No problem. I'm also hesitant to add the word formation to shotgun, as many formations can be run from the shotgun.
